January 24, 2012 Chinese Officials Kill at Least 6 Tibetan Protesters

Chinese officials fired at a group of Tibetan protesters Monday, killing at least six and wounding many others. The Christian Post suggests, "The shootings were apparently in response to a protest organized...over what they see as religious persecution in their ongoing struggle to free Tibet from China's control."
